The Genesis of an Idea
The concept of Suite Elite was sparked in December 2020 amidst a brainstorming session between our CEO, Anmol, and Co-Founder, Ashvin. The COVID-19 pandemic had severely impacted the hospitality sector and Food & Beverage industry, and there was a pressing need for innovative solutions to aid recovery.
Exploring the Industry Landscape
Our exploration began with an analysis of various business models in the hospitality sector, from budget chains like OYO to luxury brands like Relais & Chateaux, and industry giants such as Marriott and Preferred Hotels. This comprehensive study provided us with deep insights into the industry’s dynamics.
A Focus on Small Business Owners
It soon became clear that the real struggle was faced by small business owners and independent property operators. These entities were the hardest hit and in dire need of support to survive and thrive in the post-pandemic world.
The Birth of Suite Elite
This realization led to the creation of Suite Elite – a subdivision dedicated to automating processes and providing technological support to small businesses in the hospitality and Food & Beverage sector. Our goal was to help these businesses adapt, recover, and eventually profit in the new normal.
Challenges Along the Way
Developing Suite Elite was not without its challenges. Finding the right manpower and technical expertise that was both effective and affordable proved to be a significant hurdle. However, our determination did not waver.
A Timely Intervention by Rana Pratap
In 2022, Ashvin’s uncle and friend, Mr. Rana Pratap, a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer, joined our mission. His expertise and dedication were instrumental in overcoming our challenges. Working tirelessly alongside Anmol and Ashvin, Rana Mama, as we affectionately call him, became a cornerstone of Suite Elite.
Innovation in Action: Bite2Eat
Our first breakthrough product, Bite2Eat, epitomizes the innovation at the heart of Suite Elite. This touchless menu application is designed to streamline order-taking and billing processes for small restaurants, significantly reducing manpower costs by minimizing the need for waitstaff.
Navigating Regulatory Challenges
Despite our progress, we encountered a roadblock with the latest RBI restrictions on payment gateways for new applications. This challenge has temporarily hindered our launch plans, but we are actively seeking solutions to navigate these regulations.
Looking Forward with Optimism
We are committed to launching Bite2Eat as soon as possible and are exploring all avenues to make this a reality. Suite Elite is more than just a product; it’s a promise to empower small businesses in the hospitality and food & beverage industry.
